The God of Fire
Greek-Prometheus Roman-Prometheus TITAN
Prometheus was the god of fire and humankind because he created humans out of clay, then stole some fire from Mount Olympus for them. The consequence Zeus gave him was being chained to Mount Caucasus where an eagle ate his liver. But, his liver would grow back every night, so the eagle can eat it again. His parents were Iapetus and Clymene. His siblings were Epimetheus, Atlas, and Menoetius.
His wife was Asia. Their children were Deucalion and Aidos.
Prometheus's friends include humankind and Heracles because it was Heracles that saved him from his torture at Mount Caucasus by killing the eagle. His foes are Zeus, eagles, and vultures.
The god of fire was one of the three Titans that were allies to the Olympians during the Trojan War. He betrayed his family, the Titans. Also, Prometheus's name means "forethought" or "thinks ahead."
