The God of Music
Greek-Apollo Roman-Apollo OLYMPIAN
Apollo was the god of music, the sun, medicine, archery, truth, healing, poetry, and prophecy. His parents were Zeus and Leto. Apollo also had a twin sister, Artemis, goddess of the moon and hunting. Together, they killed Niobe's fourteen children with their archery skills . They did that because Niobe had bragged that she was a better mother than, Leto, their own mom.
Apollo had four children; Asclepius, Orpheus, Aristaeous, and Troilus.
Apollo's allies are Poseidon, The Pythia, and Dionysus. His enemies are Hera, Python, Eros, Agamemnon, Niobe, and Marsyus.
The god of music leads The Muses in a music group. He also has many other heroic events that include shooting poisoned arrows into Agamemnon's camp to infect his soldiers with the plaque and killing The Cyclopes. That got himself exiled from Mount Olympus for one year; he had to spend that time on earth.
